Connect these....



Ans is the 1959 musical "the Sound of Music" by Richard Rogers and Oscar Hammerstein.

First pic is of Georg von Trapp, an Austro - Hungarian Navy officer whose expliots at sea during WW I earned him numerous decorations like Military Order of Maria Theresa. The story of his family was the inspiration for the 1959 musical "The Sound of Music". 
Second pic is the flower named Edelweiss, which is also the name of a show tune from the same musical.
