AIFF Footballer of the Year
Sunil Chetri has been declared as the Player of the Year (2011) by All India Football Federation (AIFF).
It is for his excellent performance in the Indian team with 13 goals in 17 international appearances including the 7 goals in SAFF cup 2011 where he was declared as the MVP, Man of the Match in all 5 games India played and top scorer.
He started his club career with Mohun Bagan in 2002 and then played for JCT, East Bengal, Dempo, Kansas city Wizards (USA), United Sports club. He is now playing for his old club Mohun Bagan.
